We've been sitting on this one for a little while, making sure it was just right, and now we're finally ready to show it off: The InkCast has a brand new home at theinkcast.com!

This channel has always been about the community, the people and all the different ways we play Lorcana. So we built a place where everyone can hang out together. Whether you're into Core, Infinity or Coconut, whether you're competitive, casual, a collector or brand new to the game, there's a spot for you here.

The site is free. You can browse decks and read articles without signing up. Creating a free account takes about 10 seconds, and it unlocks saving and sharing your own decks, tracking your collection and more. Here's the tour.

Articles From the Community

There aren't many places to sit down and read about Lorcana, so we made one. You'll find deck techs, news, format coverage (Coconut included) and more, all filterable by the format you care about.

Every InkCast video will show up here as an article too, like the one you're reading right now. If you'd rather read than watch, that's totally fine. Deck tech articles include the decklist so you can copy it down and take it to your locals.

Write for The InkCast

This is the part we're most excited about. You hear our voice all the time, but this site is about your voice. You can apply to become a writer and share your thoughts with the whole community:

  • Walk through a decklist you're piloting and explain how you play it
  • Put a hot take out there and get people talking
  • Share whatever you think the community needs to hear

If that sounds like you, apply to write for The InkCast and we'll get you hooked up.

Decklists for Every Format

Looking for something to bring to set champs or your next locals? The decks section has Core, Infinity and Coconut right at the top. From there you can filter by ink colors or archetypes, find the list you want and click in.

Coconut Decks by Leader

There aren't many sites out there that make Coconut easy, so we made it a priority. You can browse Coconut decks by leader: scroll through, pick the leader you want and see decks built around them. As official Coconut leaders get added and rebalanced, we'll keep the site up to date.

Credit Where It's Due

It matters a lot to us that deck builders get credit. When you upload a deck, you can tag where it came from, and if you've got a YouTube video showing how to play it, you can link that right on the deck page. The community makes amazing stuff, and we want to give it a platform.

The Deck Builder

This is a big one. If you've ever built a Coconut deck somewhere else, you know the pain: 60 cards, singleton, four copies of your leader, and three inks. That third ink adds a lot to keep track of, especially if you mostly play Core and Infinity.

Our deck builder was made with Coconut in mind:

  • Pick your leader and your inks lock in automatically
  • It enforces singleton while allowing four copies of your leader
  • It flags anything illegal, like extra copies or a stray fourth ink

The same builder handles Core and Infinity too. Just switch formats and it applies those rules, letting you know about banned cards or cards that aren't legal in the format.

Live Stats and Sample Hands

As you build, you get live updates on your ink curve, your inkable vs. uninkable count and your ink split: everything you need to hone the deck in.

There's also a sample hand button. Click it to see what a typical opening hand looks like. Are you drawing too many uninkables? Not enough low drops? Now you can actually see it while you build.

Prices and Missing Cards

The builder is hooked into TCGplayer prices, so you can see right away whether a deck is budget or not. If you're missing a few cards, one button sends them to TCGplayer and imports them into your cart.

Share Your Deck

Once you've built something awesome, hit share for a clean deck graphic to send to your playgroup, your Discord or your locals. We put extra work into the Coconut graphic, trying to make all those cards look a lot less chaotic on one screen. You can grab graphics of decks other people have uploaded too.

Track Your Collection

Collectors, we see you (we are you!). With a free account (link your Discord, Gmail or whatever you prefer) you can mark which cards you own and how many copies. When you're browsing decks, you can filter to show only what you own, and the buy-missing-cards button grabs exactly the ones you still need.

The Pin Board

Not those pins we don't get anymore, but site pins! Doing things around the site earns you little pins for your pin board, and anyone who views your profile can see them. Some are super easy, some are harder to track down, and we'll keep adding more over time. Build your first deck and Hercules is yours!

Heroic Players, We Got You

Heroic isn't going anywhere. We're still doing it on the channel, and your account works across both the Heroic site and theinkcast.com, so you'll still see Heroic content wherever you build.

This Is Version 1.0

This is only the beginning. We'll keep building, and we read all the comments, so tell us what you want added next. Head over to theinkcast.com, make your account, build your first deck and grab that first pin. And come hang out with us in the Discord!
